Unpaid Invoices

Our company was contacted by Elite Home Warranty to do a few work orders and we have yet to be paid. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone at this company. No one replies to our emails or returns the calls. They are taking advantage of free labor and refuse to pay for the work. Do not support this company, absolute scam!

1 Month no washer and still no claim payment

I come from a customer service background and I only reserve bad reviews to keep others informed. Here’s what you can expect by signing up for an Elite Home Warranty plan. I was without a washing machine for an entire month and I still have not received payment for the claim payout and am having to sit on hold 40+ minutes to find out why I haven’t been paid. The phone center dropped the call I called back and am being told the company is having issues and to email.

You can expect 30–60-minute wait times to get through to someone. You can expect to be shuttled around to multiple “Concierges.” When you request to be escalated to a supervisor they minimize the request and do everything in their power not to. Then they say they’ve notified their supervisor and they will get back to you. They do not get back to you not once in the 6-12 calls I had with their employees. There are several staff that are short, not considerate and do not acknowledge urgency. You can expect no email updates on the progress. You can expect having to repeatedly call them. My last two claims I have had to call in a total of 6-12 times. For 2 claims. You can expect to have to call them and the vendors they connect you with repeatedly. The last claim I submitted they Confirmed I was scheduled with a washing machine repair shop and that they’d call me. They did not. I had to call Elite Home Warranty again get the number of the vendor and call them directly. Then the vendor fumbled the scheduling twice. So I had to call back Elite Home warranty and request a new vendor. To sum this up. I filed a BBB complaint and my payout finally was confirmed for the claim, but wait there’s more. I was without a Washing machine for a Month. To top that off. I was told I had to wait 45 days to receive the payout. That puts the issue at 2.5 months since reported to payout and technically I still haven’t even been paid so as of now it’s 2.5 months since the issue started and to final resolution.

Spend your money as a consumer elsewhere. This is one of the worst customer experiences with an organization I’ve ever experienced in my personal life and my career. I’ve re-opened my BBB complaint.

No resolution to claim after numerous calls and a commitment to reimburse me

Have been trying to get a resolution on a claim since May. I cannot get through on their customer service line, have talked to management and promised money that has never come. Horrible service. DO NOT get a home warranty through this company.

1-Star Review
1-Star Review: Avoid at All Costs

Elite Home Warranty sells the dream but delivers a nightmare. They make big promises when you’re signing up—fast service, responsive support, and comprehensive coverage—but once they have your money, the story changes completely.

Terrible communication: Good luck getting a straight answer from anyone. Every call gets bounced around, emails go unanswered for days (if ever), and their reps seem more interested in avoiding responsibility than helping.

Service delays: Claims take forever to process, and when they finally send someone, it’s either the wrong contractor or a no-show. Repairs that should take days drag on for weeks or even months.

Fine print traps: They’re experts at finding loopholes to deny claims. Things you were assured would be covered are suddenly “not eligible” due to some hidden clause. It feels like a scam.

Do yourself a favor: don’t waste your time or money. Elite Home Warranty is anything but elite.
